A Friend Through the End?

When I walk
the sound of footsteps
meet me, greet me.
Whose?

Roomy

While I am lying on a horizontal tree trunk
split off from the vertical trunk
you massage my body
feeling the tree trunk dance inside my body
with much of me made of air
with room to spare
so what’s around, in or over ground
dances with the tree in me
and thee.

Divining

Because the world was unkind
I tried to hide inside my mind.
There I thought our world’s embraced
by blessings from a distant place.

But folks are forks—upside down,
the handle’s our mind-full crown,
by nature we seek and find
what in and around's divine.

Bless Flesh

All of our cells
are loving wells--
drink from these troughs
enables thoughts
and all we feel
to help us heal
singing to say
what body prays.

Play Day

She jumps on me,
squeals, “My horsey,”
pulling my ears
she has no fear
letting me know
which way to go
til moves are fun
and everyone
moving with me
may play horsey.

Snow Job

Snow on a sunny winter day
is more than I can ever say.
Reading this poetry from me
I hope you don't wholly agree.

Kissing What’s Missing

Difficult emotions, like envy--
when fine-tuned to move easily
reveal what I want’s really me
who hears to be and's here to see.

Out of My Mind Aligned

I have been standing
on my head too long.
Feet find floor dancing
while mouth sings songs.

Chants in Church

We chant: “Blessings Be We”

A woman on a rug is massaging her knee.
I walk over, she smiles. Kneeling, I put my hand on her knee.
Hand dances healing with knee
until we become more than we.

We chant: "We’re God Light"

Our eyes close.
The chant flows.
We’re not there--
just singing air.

We chant: “Help Us Be Divinity”

Eyes opening hazily see
we might be infinity
dancing so free
into hand-knee.

Divine Within Finds All Kin

We have an inner diviner--
divine’s everywhere we find her.

Our Only Security Comes From Learning to Dance on the Head of a Pin*

Insubstantial, I shake
until I am awake.

Undressin' Depression

When I lack desire
to live my life
instead of self-strife
I take many breaths--
feel my life’s death
that’s buried so deep
only waking sleep
reveals light-fire
that never tires.

Just Desserts

Heartbeat, breath, flesh, weight,
bones, mind, desire, skin
deliciously play
without with within.

Happy Valentine

Your love’s blood red.
Your love’s sky blue.
Your love’s a treat.
Much love to you.

Sometimes We Feel Our Love Is Real

When love flows well
it’s worth the hell:
but just to meet
is also sweet.

Music of Our Tears

Words can be shields
from what we feel
keep us away
by what we say
and what we think
til thought/words stink
so--heart organs
urge words from moans.

God’s Odd

Problems with what’s divine
start when I feel God's found:
I grab God with my mind
cut God off from the ground--
stop our God from growing
beyond all my knowing.

Bubble Beyond Trouble

We'll keep our glow
when all our parts
know how to flow
touched by our hearts.

Happy Valentine Days

No love, no worth
when conceived, birthed,
folks emptied me--
sucked ecstasy.
Needing too much love
with none to give--
so love when here
brought too much fear
until I learned
to love me true
easily earn
true love from you.

Sappy Happy

With mind communing
as body’s moving
on ground planting
each moment’s loving
when sap’s arising
through brain surprising.

Compassion or Else

When I don’t feel my feelings
they invade and start me reeling.
When I don’t feel your feelings
they invade and start me reeling.
